TAKE ACTION: Open Doors to Renting Reform Proposals

Property owners are urged take action in response to proposed tenancy law changes by Housing for Queensland. Many of the proposals will add extra burdens on landlords and make renting much more onerous and expensive. It is important to respond to the surveys, make a submission, post to social media or write to them by Friday 28 December 2019. For mode details go to our Take Action Page

Natural Disasters - Resources for Property Owners

With the recent flooding event in north Queensland, the The REIQ  has compiled a Disaster and Flood Relief toolkit (PDF, 7.2 MB).  This emergency toolkit is currently available to download for non-members and members alike, and is well written and informative.  The POAQ has also compiled a page with links to other resources to help prepare for and respoind to natural disasters, see Natural Disaster Information for Property Owners.
